LeAire Griffin
CEO & Founder of The Discipleship Home
My Name is LeAire Griffin, and I am the Founder and Director of The Discipleship Home.
I was born and raised in San Diego California. At a very young age I found myself surrounded by a life of drugs and crime, which eventually overtook my own ambitions and led me down a path of darkness and incarceration.
At the age of fifteen I was arrested for the first, but far from the last time. Throughout the next fifteen years I was alone and deeply broken, spending eight of these years in a prison cell. From childhood I was constantly attempting to fill a void inside of myself, with people, and drugs.
In 2013, I found myself incarcerated and facing another prison term, this is when Jesus found me alone and empty at my rock bottom. In that cell I gave my life to Jesus and vowed to serve him and his kingdom for the rest of my life.
By 2015 God would bless me with a vision of what would soon become The Discipleship Home. After only three weeks this vision would come to fruition.
This ministry is me giving back what Jesus gave to me that day alone in my cell. Mercy, Grace, and Freedom……
To this day we have served hundreds of men and walked side by side on their journey towards freedom from addiction. Planting the seed of hope for a new way of life in each of their lives and providing an atmosphere where they can feel safe to pursue a personal relationship of their own with Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement
Here at The Discipleship Home, we walk side-by-side with our clients as they discover a newfound relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to provide a Christ-centered, safe, and structured sober living environment.
We strive to provide a compassionate and supportive living environment for those suffering from an addiction.
Our goal within the program is to provide clients with healing, through Biblical principles, from any underlying issues that they may suffer from, as a result of their addiction.
Having a home that is based on faith gives our residents the ability to walk through many of the challenges that lie ahead with hope for a different way of life.
